The focus of the blaze from the car
Sucking intensely........
As if, I was getting into the end of the time tunnel Faraway
Look
The body became a river drilled into that impermanent rock
Uproar swimming away from my ear Said...
BE QUIET silencing a long narrow way
An emotional unattached Tearing slightly skimmed that enamored sky
Thus scattered all over the floor in exchange for un-soreness bashfulness
Recognizing a remnant loosened in the corner of a wall of a white linen

(I first wrote this poem in Mandarin 18 years ago in sitting in a corner of a cafe in Taipei. Later I translated it in English about 10 years ago in Belize... I am not sure if this is the final version in English... )

| Thank you, Miyazaki san for posing for the study. It comes out nicely! This study only took me a little more than 4 hours in all... I think the first day is the key day. If the first day work came out good, the second day will be a piece of cake! But, again, sometimes, you never know....By the way, Miyazaki san looks much younger with this sports shirt. Nice blue! I am very pleased to have him as my sitter. |

| The reason why Mr. Felix's face looks a little troubled is because one of his eye was bothering him on the first day while sitting for the study... I liked its face expression so I kept it... Haaa..."it seems a little annoyed"! ; ) Oh! there's a joke I would like to share. On the first day, the draft looks much older than he is so I said, ' Mr. Felix, don't worry, I am going to paint you younger...." I like this joke!!! It's a new one. |

(Draft) study#23 Alobi First day. My dear sitter arrived this morning. We worked for about 3 hours. He has a new pairs of glasses and it goes very well with his eyes. Tomorrow morning we will continue another 3 hours..... I will post the final work tomorrow as well. Thanks for viewing.

Portrait studies. The skin tone of the first couples of studies are totally out of control but somehow I like their mood very much... I am making progress all because of my sitters.... Thank you, my dearest sitters! And they will be back to do another study in 2 to 3 months time. By the way, the color of the photos I took are too "gray". I have to fix this problem...
