Sketch by the Swimming Pool

After I dropped my son to his Saturday morning class, I went to Princess Hotel and did this quick study by the swimming pool where I swim. I couldn't stay long. There's only an hour and half. But I thought it was long enough for a quick sketch. I had to keep practicing this kind of study, quick sketch. It helped to work more accurately with my color value. I had to remember the value of the color always came first. I believe, including this one, many of my early work would failed. But, just like the project of 100 portrait studies. It won't take too long. The work of plein air will come to my satisfaction.
